Prerequisites to Start Driving

Anyone with personal vehicle can start driving around the city using SwiftRyde driver app. Here’s the minimum requirements;

• You must be at least 21-year old.
• 4-door car not older than 2007.
• Completed extensive vehicle inspection.
• No more than two traffic violations in the past one year (e.g. accidents, traffic signal violations.)
• No major violations in the past three years (e.g., using suspended license, reckless driving.)
• No DUIs or other drug-related traffic violations in the last six years.
• No extreme infractions in the last six years (e.g., felonies involving your car, hit-and-run.)
• Be legally allowed to drive in your country.

Documents Required

When using your own car, you must provide vehicle registration and insurance besides driving license. Other requirements may vary according to traffic regulations in your city.

• Valid car documentation to drive in the country
• Must have a valid driving license with at least one-year driving experience with no major traffic violation in past three years.
• Address proof of your residency in the city or province

Driving Screening

After signing up, you need to complete a screening process. We need to review your driving record and criminal record history before taking you on board.

• No sexual offenses
• No theft
• No property damage
• No felonies
• No drug abuses
• You must comply with local regulations in your city
